Drop Off / Pick Up

Drop off is available free of any charge at the front of the main building or by our University Centre.

Please note the rear drop off zone is free exit up to 10am ONLY after which time the rear car parks are ‘Pay to Exit’. The current charge is a flat rate of £1. The College uses a token system. Tokens will be available from token machines in our Reception areas and Retail Outlets.

Visitors parking

If you are a visitor to the College, limited parking is available at the front of the Main Building. This needs to be booked in advance via your College host. Please only park in bay allocated to you.

Alternatively there is ample parking in the rear car parks which are ‘Pay to Exit’. The current charge is a flat rate of £1. Tokens will be available from our Reception areas and Retail Outlets.

You may park in a marked bay for as long as you require that day. You do not need to buy a ticket or pay when you arrive.

Barrier entry at Vantage Point

The barriers are controlled between 10am and 9pm throughout the year
• Entry will always be possible
• Exiting will be unhindered between 6am – 10am Monday to Saturday
• To exit the car parks after 10am all users will require a token for £1 bought at token machines in the main building or from our Receptions and Retail Outlets
• For special events and Open Days free exit will be provided

To enter, please approach the ‘in’ barrier which will rise.

Student interviews

Candidates may be provided with a free exit token on attendance.

One day / short courses

Please ‘Pay to Exit’, buy a token for £1 at a token machine at our Reception areas or from one of our Retail Outlets.

Deliveries and taxis

Companies making frequent visits may apply for a free exit pass. These passes do not permit parking on site only drop off / pick up or delivery access to the rear of the building and the delivery yard.

Carers

If you are responsible for a child under 12, or older student who requires assistance or is not independent, you may apply to the College for a free exit pass / concessionary ‘Exit Token’ from the session administrator.
These passes do not permit parking on campus but purely to drop off / pick up at the rear of the building.

Blue Badge holders

Staff and students are required to buy a Permit.
Visitors should buy a token for £1 at a token machine at our Reception areas or from one of our Retail Outlets.

Mama Bear Day Nursery

There is unhindered exit from the car parks up to 10am.
Members of the Community dropping off or collecting children after 10am can collect a re-useable exit pass from the Nursery’s session administrator.

Coming to the College to use its facilities

  • Restaurant
  • Hair and Beauty facilities
  • Gym, Sports hall

Visitors should buy a token for £1 at a token machine at our Reception areas or from one of our Retail Outlets.

Parking on Campus (Students)

Students must apply to park on our Vantage Point campus in Paignton.

Purchase your parking permit via our Online store or at the Essentials Shop off The Street, Level 1.

Parking on Campus (Evening students only)

If you are attending College in the evenings only, please purchase your permit online and your ID card will be programmed to open the car park exit barriers within 24 hours.
