SDHS Bursary and Transport 25/26 Applications are now open!

South Devon High School pupils can now apply for a FREE travel pass if they live more than 2 miles from the College and have an earned household income of below £25,000.

You can apply for your bursary for a FREE travel pass here. All passes are awarded dependant on the student’s home address. Please note, the SDC Stagecoach Torbay/South West Zone allow unlimited travel from 1st September 2025 until 4th July 2026.

Please note funds are limited and we recommend you apply as soon as possible to secure your funding. Once funding has been spent there will be a waiting list until funds become available.  

If the household income is above £25,000, you can purchase your travel pass online termly or annually here or download a Travel Pass Application Form to pay by cash, cheque (payable to South Devon College) or month Direct Debit.

Discounted Travel Pass available:

SDC  Stagecoach Torbay Zone Travel Pass: £561: Covers: Brixham, Kingswear, Dartmouth, Paignton, Torquay, Totnes, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth and Dawlish

SDC Stagecoach South West Zone Travel Pass: £837: Covers the Torbay Zone plus: South Brent, Ivybridge, Kingsbridge, Plymouth, Chudleigh, Ashburton, Bovey Tracey, Buckfastleigh and Exeter.

+ Ferry Pass: £246 You can add a Dartmouth to Kingswear ferry pass for just an extra £82 per term! This will cover your timetabled college days only.
