**The 2021/22 Exclusive and Discounted South Devon College Travel Pass*
Working in partnership with Stagecoach, we have secured an amazing South Devon College Travel Pass offer available to all South Devon College students and staff!
Our Stagecoach South Devon College Travel Pass offers 24/7 UNLIMITED travel from 1st September 2021 until 31st July 2022. Depending on your location, you can choose between a Dayrider or Explorer Pass, giving you the independence and freedom to study, work, socialise and explore!
FREE South Devon College Travel Passes:
If you are:
· A pupil at South Devon High School, living more than 2 miles away and with an earned household income of less than £25,000
· Aged 16 – 19 and living with an earned household income of less than £25,000
· Aged 19+ and living with an earned household income of less than £35,000
Students undertaking Apprenticeships or ‘Full-Cost’ courses are not eligible for any bursary funding.
Bursary funding is limited and is awarded on a first come, first served basis. We highly recommended that you apply as early as possible, funds open in May 2021.
If you have been awarded bursary fund support and you live in the Dayrider Zone, you will receive a free Dayrider Travel Pass. You can upgrade this to an EXPLORER Pass for just £51 per term or £153 for the year! Pay to upgrade on the Online Shop.
DISCOUNTED South Devon College Travel Pass for all other students

SDC Electronic Stagecoach Dayrider Travel Pass: £312: Covers: Brixham, Kingswear, Dartmouth, Paignton, Torquay, Totnes, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth and Dawlish
SDC Electronic Stagecoach Explorer Travel Pass: £465: Covers the Dayrider Zone plus: South Brent, Ivybridge, Plymouth, Chudleigh, Ashburton, Bovey Tracey, Buckfastleigh and Exeter, costing £450 for the entire academic year.
+ Ferry Pass: £180 You can add a Dartmouth to Kingswear ferry pass for just an extra £60 per term! This will cover your timetabled college days only.
SDC Electronic Kingsbridge Coach Pass: £465 *This will cover your timetabled College days only. This coach travels between; Kingsbridge, East Allington (Mounts), Halwell, Harbertonford and South Devon College. Apprentices travelling on this coach 1 day per week: £165 *This will cover your timetabled College day only.

- Download your SDC Travel Pass Application Form. You can pay annually by cash, card, cheque (payable to South Devon College), monthly Direct Debit or via our online shop. If you are applying for Bursary Support, please apply directly to the SDC Bursary Fund.
No refunds will be issues for passes returned or cancelled after 1st May 2022.

Taxis for 16-18 year olds
If you are aged 16-18 studying a full-time course and require a taxi based on medical grounds, your Local Authority (Devon County Council or Torbay) may be able to support your journey to college.
If you require a Torbay Council Taxi, please complete the Bursary Fund form or the Discounted Travel Pass form and indicate that you require a Torbay Council taxi, we will then send you the relevant form to complete and return to us with supporting medical evidence.
If you require support from Devon County Council and cannot attend college without this support, you will need to contact DCC directly to request support. Please find further information here.
Torbay Council Taxi and Devon County Council Taxi cost £312 for the academic year.
Fantastic News – Our Travel Passes are Now Electronic!
Once you have enrolled onto your course, your MyID Travel Pass is valid from 1st September 2021. Whether you have had your travel pass funded through bursary or purchased, you can access it through our SDConnect App following these steps below:
– Download and open the SDConnect app
– If you have not yet logged into the app, login with your student details
– Click on the ‘MyID’ icon on your Homepage (located around halfway down the screen) You will now have access to your Electronic Travel Pass on the SDConnect app.
The MyID is only available for Dayider, Explorer and Kingsbridge Coach Travel Passes. Ferry Passes will be posted out your home address in card form.
All Travel Passes are electronic, should you require a physical printed travel card please contact us via email

If you have arranged and we have agree to issue you a printed, hard South Devon College Stagecoach bus pass and you have lost it this can be replaced in the Helpzone for a £5.00 fee or via the Online Shop. You must pay the £5.00 fee before the replacement pass can be printed. If you are unable to visit the Helpzone, please call the Funding and Transport team on 08000 380123.
If you have lost your Devon County Council travel pass, you need to order a replacement online. Devon County Council also charge £5.00 for a replacement bus pass. Please visit the Devon County Council website.
