This two-year, full-time course focuses on assisting teaching in schools, giving you in-depth knowledge of how children learn and develop, alongside practical skills in behaviour management, supporting learning, safeguarding, and inclusive education. What makes the T Level stand out is its extended industry placement, where you’ll gain real-world experience by working in a local school, building the confidence and expertise only possible through direct contact with pupils and teachers.
By the end of the course, you will be recognised as a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant, ready to progress into employment or further study. T Levels are equivalent to three A Levels and carry full UCAS points, so you’ll also have the option to apply for university degrees in areas such as teaching, early years education, social work, child psychology, and more.
