We offer a wide range of Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) courses available for Plumbers. Initial assessments are for those that don’t currently hold these qualifications, Re-assessments for those renewing their current qualifications (every 5 years).

Hot Water Systems and Safety (HWSS) training course provides operatives with a certificate of competence in accordance with G3 Building Regulations.
This course replaces the unvented hot water training course and covers all hot water systems.
Training and assessment takes place over one day with candidates doing slightly different assessments depending on whether they require initial assessment or re-assessment.
The HWSS course is recognised by Competent Person Schemes (CPS) approved to offer self-certification under Approved Document G.
Upon successful course completion, candidates will be issued with a HWSS certificate of competence from LCL Awards.
The cost of the course includes training, assessment, the certification fee.
Membership of the Gas Safe register is a legal requirement for any installer wishing to carry out gas work in the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Guernsey.
To register as a domestic gas installer, you must hold Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) plus certification for the appliances you intend to work on.
This course is for engineers renewing their core gas qualifications ( every 5 years)
CENWAT is designed to assess the competence of a gas engineer to install, exchange, commission, disconnect, service, carry out repair and attend to breakdown of all types of gas central heating boilers and water heaters.

This Core Gas Safety Assessment covers the competencies required to cover Liquid Petroleum Gas in Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (mobile caravans/ motorhomes)

The LCL Awards Water Regulations Certificate covers the Water Regulations (1999) and is a necessary requirement for qualified plumbers (minimum NVQ Level 2) looking to join their local water authorities Water Industry Approved Plumber Scheme. It is also a pre-requisite for several renewable technology qualifications and may also be undertaken by learners new to the industry undertaking a plumbing qualification or Gas Managed Learning Program. The course is structured to include both self-study and centre based guided learning.
CKR1 covers gas work on all gas cooking appliances, including; free-standing and ‘slide in’ cookers, ‘built in’ hotplates, ‘built in/under’ ovens and grill units, covering; installation, commissioning, exchanging, disconnecting, servicing, attending to breakdowns and repair.
The course covers installation, maintenance, breakdown repair and the disconnection of gas fires and wall heaters.

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative intending to extend the work range from natural gas to liquefied petroleum gas in both domestic and commercial permanent dwellings by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.

HTRLP2 Closed flue gas fires
This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of installation, exchange, disconnection, servicing, repair, breakdown and commission of closed flued liquefied petroleum gas fires by practical, knowledge and understanding assessment (The Widney gas fires in Residential Park Homes (static caravans).
