At South Devon College, our purpose-built dance studio provides the perfect space for aspiring performers to train, rehearse and refine their technique in a professional, inspiring environment. Designed to industry standards, the studio is fully equipped to support a wide range of dance styles and performance disciplines.

Flooded with natural light and fitted with sprung flooring, wall-to-wall mirrors, and barres, the studio offers the ideal setting for everything from classical ballet and contemporary movement to commercial, street and musical theatre choreography. Whether you’re preparing for an assessed performance or working on a new routine, the space encourages creativity, precision and confidence.

Alongside the dance studio, students also benefit from access to the College’s dedicated theatre, complete with technical lighting rigs, sound equipment, and recording facilities, providing full performance production experience, from studio to stage.

This vibrant, professional environment is where you’ll build core performance skills, experiment with choreography, and grow as both a dancer and creative artist.
