Whether you already have a clear idea of your path or are just beginning to explore your options, this course will give you the confidence and practical skills you need to take your next step.
You will develop a strong foundation in three key construction trades: brickwork, carpentry and painting and decorating. Through engaging practical sessions and supportive classroom learning, you will gain an understanding of how each trade works and how these skills come together on real construction projects. This broad introduction will help you make informed decisions about your future progression, whether you move into a specialist trade course, an apprenticeship, or employment in the local construction industry.
Alongside your trade skills, you will study essential subjects that prepare you for the workplace. These include health and safety in practical environments and communication skills, helping you work effectively as part of a team. These subjects ensure you develop good habits, safe working practices and the confidence to communicate clearly on site.
