Developing Customer Service Skills (Online)

Developing Customer Service Skills (Online)

This NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Customer Service will provide you with some of the skills and knowledge required to successfully work in customer services. You will build your knowledge of the principles of customer service and develop your skills in communication, resolving queries and meeting customers' needs.

You will learn about:

  • The benefits to the organisation of good customer service

  • The possible consequences of poor customer service

  • The value of first impressions

  • Positive verbal and non-verbal interaction with customers

  • How respect for the individual is at the heart of good customer service

  • Your role dealing with complaints from customers

How you will learn and be assessed:

• This course is completed via distance learning.

• There are no live lessons to attend. You will learn independently on our online platform with the support of a personal tutor, so you can study at times that suit you while still completing work within the required deadlines.

• You can access the assessment at any point leading up to your deadline. It is in the form of written question and answer format and is not timed, meaning you can complete the assessment in small chunks.

• Each assessment must be completed within the set interim deadlines.

Upon completion, you will have developed customer service skills that can be relied upon by employers in a range of industries and could progress onto other courses such as Level 2 Customer Skills.
