UAL Digital Media: Creative Media Diploma Level 2
If you’re interested in the world of media, whether that’s with a camera in hand or behind the scenes, then this is the perfect course for you. It has been designed to give you an introduction to a broad range of topics in the media, helping you find a subject you’re passionate about and preparing you for future study.
This University of Arts London (UAL) Creative Media Production & Technology Level 2 diploma is equivalent to 4 GCSEs at grade C or above, and is perfect preparation for future study on our more advanced courses that we offer. You’ll be studying disciplines such as film making, advertising, and photography, as well as developing an understanding of the media industry itself and the career paths you can consider. It’s a fastmoving and exciting industry to be a part of and, what’s more, it’s growing all the time. There are now more opportunities in creative media than ever before, and we can help you get there.
You will develop practical skills, whilst learning the supporting theory that underpins being an effective media practitioner. There is a focus on creative production, as you are introduced to using industrystandard equipment and software that will prepare you well for working in the media industry. The course is taught by media professionals who will share their experience with you. You’ll be working with industrystandard equipment and software, from our Apple Mac suites to the very best cameras and microphones. Everything about this course has been designed to prepare you for future study on our more advanced courses at Level 3.

Many of our courses are fully funded for 16-18 year olds however not all courses are available for this age group.
