Silver Jewellery: Cloisonne Enamel Pendants

Silver Jewellery: Cloisonne Enamel Pendants

Unleash your creativity and develop specialist craft skills in this engaging enamelling course, designed specifically for adult students. You’ll explore the art of torch-fired enamelling on copper, with a particular focus on cloisonné and painting techniques that allow for intricate and expressive designs.

Students will be guided through the process of designing and planning their own projects, learning how to apply enamel using a gas torch to achieve vibrant, durable finishes. The course will introduce you to the principles of cloisonné-using fine wires to create detailed compartments filled with enamel-and painting with enamel to produce more fluid, illustrative effects.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to expand your existing jewellery-making or metalwork skills, this course offers a supportive and creative environment. You’ll be encouraged to share ideas, experiment with techniques, and collaborate with your tutor and fellow students.

Individual guidance will be available throughout, helping you progress at your own pace and refine your personal style. By the end of the course, you’ll have completed one or more unique pieces and gained the confidence to continue exploring enamelling as a creative practice.
