We offer Functional Skills English at Entry Level, Level 1, and Level 2. We also provide English for Speakers of Other Languages courses.
Course Structure:
Attendance: 2 hours per week
Duration: 3 Units, each lasting 5 weeks
Assessments: Reading, Writing, and Speaking & Listening
Flexible start: You can join at any start point throughout the year
To achieve the qualification, you must pass all three components: Reading, Writing, and Speaking & Listening.

Before enrolling, you’ll complete an initial assessment to identify the most suitable level for you and ensure you get the most from your studies.
Once the assessment is complete, we’ll offer you a day and time to attend. Please note that this may differ from the day and time selected on your application.
When applying, choose the level, day, and time you feel would suit you best, and we’ll contact you to arrange your assessment.
