Are you aged 16–18 and passionate about physical activity, teamwork, and making a difference? This Level 2 Diploma in Uniformed Public Services at South Devon College is designed to help you build the skills, confidence, and experience needed to progress into further education, apprenticeships, or employment in the uniformed public services
Throughout this dynamic and hands-on programme, you’ll develop a wide range of physical, mental and personal skills through engaging activities in diverse environments, including land-based and water-based outdoor adventures, sports and fitness sessions and volunteering opportunities. There will also be opportunities to gain some work experience within course activities.
This programme is ideal if you are interested in careers in the armed forces, emergency services, or fitness and wellbeing sectors. It’s also a great stepping stone to Uniformed Public Services or Adventure Sports Level 3 courses - or apprenticeships in related fields.
You’ll be supported by experienced tutors and have access to excellent facilities, including outdoor training areas and fitness equipment. The course also includes opportunities to volunteer and engage with local community projects, helping you build a strong CV and network.
You will need to have achieved a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 3(D) or above to include English or Maths
