Throughout the course, you'll explore both pure and applied maths. Topics include algebra, calculus, trigonometry, sequences and series, exponentials and logarithms, and numerical methods. You'll also study statistics and mechanics, giving you the tools to analyse data, model real-world situations, and understand forces and motion.
You’ll learn through a combination of classroom teaching and independent study, supported by expert tutors who will guide you to develop confidence and accuracy in your work. The skills you build in mathematical reasoning, problem-solving and data interpretation will also support your success in related subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, psychology and geography.
