Gain a broad understanding of how businesses operate while developing specialist marketing knowledge through the OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Diploma in Business. This applied qualification combines core business units with marketing-focused units, enabling you will to develop practical, industry-relevant skills. The diploma covers Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 15, 16 and 22 alongside the specialist marketing units 5, 6 and 7.
Throughout the programme, you will explore the business environment, workplace practices and business decision-making, gaining an understanding of how organisations are structured, managed and developed. You will study customer behaviour and business communication, investigate the management of organisational change, and develop project management skills that support the successful planning and delivery of business activities.
As part of the marketing pathway, you will examine the role of marketing within organisations, undertake market research to support business decision-making, and develop marketing strategies that respond to customer needs and market trends. You will also learn how to plan and deliver effective marketing campaigns, including the use of digital marketing, social media, promotional techniques and multi-channel communications to reach target audiences and achieve business objectives.
The programme culminates in a synoptic business project, allowing you will to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the qualification to a realistic business scenario. This qualification provides a strong foundation for progression to higher education, apprenticeships, or careers in business, marketing, customer service and project management.
