Marine Technical

Our Level 1 Technical Marine Course provides a hands-on, industry-focused experience in cutting-edge facilities, preparing you with the essential skills and knowledge to kickstart an exciting career within the marine industry.

Through a blend of theory and practical training in our specialised workshops, you’ll will gain skills and knowledge in three vocational areas - marine, automotive and welding and fabrication. The practical element of this course will provide you with hands-on experience relating to marine technologies, automotive servicing, and producing welded joints to a required standard. You will also have opportunities for trips relating to these three vocational areas.

Ideal as a stepping stone for those not yet ready for Level 2 study, this course also focuses on personal and social development alongside employability skills. You’ll build confidence, leadership abilities, and emotional intelligence - key qualities for success both professionally and personally. Our experienced and supportive staff will offer comprehensive guidance to help you reach your full potential and achieve your life goals.
