You will build on your existing knowledge by exploring vehicle maintenance and repair components in greater detail, gaining advanced skills essential for success in this fast-paced and evolving industry.
The Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician course combines practical workshop activities with theory sessions, making it perfect if you enjoy hands-on learning and want to deepen your understanding of the automotive sector.
You will work towards achieving the IMI Level 2 Technical Occupational Entry in Automotive Care Diploma. When you complete the course, and depending on your English and maths levels, you could progress into an apprenticeship within the automotive sector or move on to the Level 3 Automotive course.
You should have a genuine interest in this subject
You will need to have achieved a GCSE in Maths or English at grade C / 4 or above
Ideally completed the Light Vehicle Inspection Technician Level 2.
