Ready to build on your skills and move closer to a career in health and social care? Our Level 2 Health and Social Care course at South Devon College is the perfect next step. This programme helps you develop deeper knowledge, stronger practical skills and greater confidence, preparing you for your future.
You’ll build on your existing knowledge and explore more advanced topics, including, human growth and development to develop your understanding of the human body, Safeguarding and duty of care in real-life and simulated situations, communication skills for working with different individuals to support your understanding of equality, diversity and rights an inclusion. To encourage you to think about your next steps you will also be introduced to the roles of professionals across health and social care settings and supported with the opportunities to enhance your English and maths grades.
Like all our programmes, you’ll be taught by experienced tutors and care professionals who understand the industry. They’ll help you build confidence and independence, develop essential employability skills and plan your next step, whether that’s further study or entering the workplace.

To join this course we ask for 4 GCSE’s at grade 3(D) including maths and English Language. We also accept functional skills Level 1
