Bio

Qualifying in 2012 as a paediatric nurse, I went to work on the paediatric intensive care at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. I then went to work with the Inherited Metabolic and Newborn screening Nurse specialist, supporting children and young people, and their families living with rare metabolic diseases. I have also undertaken roles in the emergency department and in the community. In 2020 I moved to Devon, where I worked for a national charity providing residential activity camps for children and young people living with an illness or disability within the UK. I am excited for my new role in education and hopefully can share my passion of safe and effective nursing care with the students.
