Lead Tutor and Head of Enrichment - UEFA B Licence Coach
Jamie Richards is the Lead Tutor and Head of Enrichment here at South Devon College having recently been promoted from a Sports Lecturer. Alongside his current role, he is also a Personal Tutor and Torquay United Academy Coach. Jamie has been coaching within the College Academy for the past nine years and holds a BSc Hons in Sports Coaching and a UEFA B Licence, bringing extensive experience from both education and elite football environments.
Alongside his college career, Jamie currently plays at Step 3 of non-league football for Taunton Town. His previous clubs include Willand Rovers, Tiverton Town F.C, Truro City, Linfield (NI), Torquay United and Plymouth Argyle.
Jamie is passionate about supporting young people to maximise their potential, encouraging students to embrace opportunities, work hard and develop both on and off the pitch.
