Computing and Digital Technologies

Studying Computing and Digital Technologies at South Devon College is all about working with modern equipment to build an exciting future. You will have access to all of the latest technology at the specialist Hi Tech and Digital Centre to create the most dynamic and challenging learning environment possible.

You will become familiar with programming languages such as VB.Net, Java, C#, C++ and Python, producing programs for Android, Windows and Linux. This will prepare you for employment working with a comprehensive range of systems. As a College, we invest in staying current so that when you complete your studies you will be able to progress seamlessly into the computing industry.

All of our computing and digital technologies courses are assessed by our passionate teaching staff, all of whom have a wealth of industry experience. We can offer you courses starting at Level 1 and progressing all the way through to degree-level study at University Centre South Devon, so whatever your goals are, you can achieve them with us. Our students leave College with the skills necessary to gain employment in a wide range of areas, and past students have gone on to work in network management, website development, software engineering and systems support.
