Computing Technologies – Networking, Security and Software Development Level 2
This Level 2 course will introduce you to the key areas of computing, helping you to kickstart your career, where you will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of current computing technologies.
The course is perfect for you if you’re interested in starting to explore a broad range of computing topics which includes databases, web development, networking, programming, and security. You will be taught in state-of-the-art programming and networking labs that support you to build the necessary skills required to succeed at this level.

This course has been designed to provide you with the essential practical skills and knowledge to progress onto one of the Level 3 programmes (Digital Support T Level or BTEC Foundation Diploma) or an apprenticeship (Infrastructure Technician, Digital Support Technician or Software Development Technician).
Course Details
- You will be required to have achieved Maths at Level 1
- You will be required to have achieved English at Level 1
- You will need to have achieved a minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade 3(D) or above
- You should have a genuine interest in this subject

Many of our courses are fully funded for 16-18 year olds however not all courses are available for this age group.
