Craft Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship
This Advanced Wood Occupations Apprenticeship allows you to specialise in either Site Carpentry or Architectural Joinery, building on your existing knowledge and taking your skills to the next level.
As a Level 3 Craft Carpentry apprentice, you’ll work on-site in domestic or commercial settings, preparing and installing complex, often bespoke building components. This includes high-quality doors, shaped linings, turned staircases, intricate wall and floor units, bespoke structural carpentry such as inclined roof structures, and features including hips, valleys, and dormers.
As a Level 3 Architectural Joiner, your work will be based in a workshop environment where you’ll produce detailed, custom-made building components. You’ll learn to set out, mark, and manufacture bespoke products such as shaped doors, windows, staircases with turns, and decorative panelling or cladding.
