This course is designed for learners with some basic knowledge of sewing, who would like to improve their dressmaking skills, as well as enthusiastic beginners with a desire to learn. The content will be adapted to the specific requirements of each learner after the first session.
Students will learn how to use a sewing machine and then iron to achieve a crisp and precise finish; how to take measurements correctly; how to choose and read patterns; how to select fabric; how to cut a garment out; how to achieve a balanced fitting on the body and finishing the garment to the highest possible standards.
