You’ll develop expertise across a wide range of travel and tourism areas, letting you take full advantage of the many career opportunities this industry offers – whether that’s right here in South Devon, or halfway across the globe.
The travel and tourism industry is continually evolving, and with a vast range of career opportunities. This course will provide you with a high level of knowledge about a wide variety of travel and tourism areas. You will learn through a variety of practical activities and theory sessions, and you will be assessed by written and practical tasks.
This is an intensive course, so you will require a high degree of self-motivation, and upon successful completion, you could progress to a second year of study at South Devon College, with a view to progressing to the foundation degree in Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management at University Centre South Devon, or alternatively consider employment.
Course Details
- You must have a GCSE Grade 4(C) in Maths
- You must have a GCSE Grade 4(C) in English
- You will need to have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4(C) or above, including Maths and English
- You should have a genuine interest in this subject
