Nutrition and Health Award (Online) Level 2

This course is ideal if you have existing knowledge of nutrition and healthy eating, and are interested in improving your understanding.

The Nutrition and Health Award (Online) Level 2 will cover; the principles of healthy eating and the role of food in maintaining health, increasing confidence in planning and achieving a healthy diet, understanding how dietary requirements can change throughout life, food labelling and how to use information from food labels, eating disorders and the role of a healthy diet for weight management. This course is a great opportunity to support your role if you work in areas such as sport and recreation, exercise and fitness, hospitality and catering or healthcare.

It will also enable you to progress to other qualifications in these areas. In order to pass the award you must complete the assessment task for each section. It is important that you follow the teaching material provided, as this will enable you to accurately answer the assessment questions.
