T Level Health and Science Foundation Year Level 2
(Pathway to Health and Science T Level or Apprenticeship)
The Health and Social Care Level 2 programme is a one-year course that is delivered using the fantastic facilities at our Paignton Campus. The course is designed to develop your knowledge and skills ready to progress onto the Health:Supporting the Adult Nursing Team T Level, Healthcare Science: Assisting in Healthcare Science T Level, or an Apprenticeship in Health or Adult Social Care.
This course is assessed through a range of methods including exams, assignments, posters, reports, presentations, and other written tasks.
This is the perfect course to develop more advanced skills before you begin to specialise in a particular career. It will help prepare you for clinical pathways, such as nursing or paramedic science, as well as social care pathways such as support workers.
On completion of the Level 2 course, there are different progression routes open to you, such as applying for an Apprenticeship in Health or Adult Social Care with an employer, or progression onto the Health:Supporting the Adult Nursing Team T Level, or Healthcare Science: Assisting in Healthcare Science T Level. “I really enjoyed studying Health and Social Care. You're treated as an adult at the College and the tutors get to know you on a personal level, they are really supportive and their knowledge is invaluable. I felt as though I grew as a person during my time there, which is so important."Caitlyn Crofts
