Social Science Level 2
Social Science is a fascinating subject area that studies society and how and why people do the things they do. Subjects such as Psychology, Criminology & Sociology are studied within social science, with topics including the psychology of mental health, theories of crime, ethics in punishment, equality & diversity and the psychology of group behaviour, included in this level 2 course.
This level 2 course will provide students with a foundation of knowledge in core topics within social science, providing them with the knowledge needed to progress to level 3. This course is the ideal starting point for students who wish to work in careers such as policing, social work, counselling, psychology, education and many more areas, in the future. Alongside lessons in social science, all learners will undertake personal development lessons which will support students with key skills such as employability skills, support with improved self-esteem, transferable skills, and many more.
