Multi-trade Construction Entry Level
This course is designed for adults looking at developing their skills in a range of practical activities.
Learning will be tailored to an individual’s needs where possible, if you have specific DIY projects in mind Tutors will endeavour to provide hints, tips, and tricks of the trade to help you achieve your goals.
The course is broken down into blocks of trade areas which you can pick and choose to meet your needs.
Course Details
- You should have a genuine interest in this subject
Bricklaying - How to set out and build brick and block walling
Plastering - How to plaster and render walls
Painting and Decorating - How to hang wallpaper as well as general decorating skills
Tiling - Learn how to tile from start to finish including setting out, marking and cutting around obstacles and grouting
Brickwork (block 2) - Refine your skills in a range of more challenging activities or if you are new learn the basics of brick or blockwork
Patio and paving - Learn how to set out and lay a basic patio and paving

If the amount shown is more than £0.00 and you are aged 19 and over at the start of the course, you may have options to help fund your studies with us. The funding you can receive depends on your personal circumstances, and could mean you are entitled to fully subsidised or reduced tuition fees.
Many of our courses are fully funded for 16-18 year olds however not all courses are available for this age group.
You may also be entitled to support with travel, childcare and equipment.
