Site Carpentry Certificate Level 2
This college training certificate will allow you to study in a wide variety of site carpentry tasks.
The overall design is based on a full academic year but split into three modules, being first fix carpentry, second fix carpentry, and maintaining carpentry items and structural carcassing.
Although there is no qualification attached to the course, you will achieve a college certificate and more importantly receive the training required to pursue future opportunities in the trade. So, whether you are looking at some training to complete some DIY on your home or gaining a springboard into the trade this course is for you!
Please note: this course’s activity is based at Level 2 study, but this is not a full Level 2 qualification.

First fix carpentry
Stud partition walls
Door linings and frames
Second fix carpentry
Basic kitchens and worktop joints
Installing boxing in
Installing timber mouldings such as skirtings and architraves
Fitting iron mongery
Maintaining carpentry items/structural carcassing
Basic cut roofs
Maintenance tasks such as window/door repairs
How to use hand tools
How to use power tools
Understanding health and safety in a practical environment

This course is fully funded for 16-18 year olds (if applicable to the course).
