Maritime Studies Certificate Level 3
This qualification is designed for anyone aged 16 and over who wants to develop the knowledge and skills needed to progress into higher education or enter the workforce. The course includes mandatory units covering working in the maritime sector, vessel types, and design, alongside optional units such as practical boat handling, passage planning, and managing a marine business. You will also work towards qualifications in mathematics for seafarers and stability at sea.
Funding may be available for learners over 19 who have been resident in the UK for three years, excluding those living within devolved adult education areas or currently undertaking an apprenticeship.

Many of our courses are fully funded for 16-18 year olds however not all courses are available for this age group.
