Maritime Studies Award Level 2
Maritime Studies Level 2 will introduce you to working in the maritime industry covering subjects such as career pathways within the sector.
You will identify various types of vessels in common usage within the maritime industry. You will also cover practical boat handling skills up to a Level 2 powerboating standard.
During the course you will also cover navigation, basic vessel engineering systems, protecting the marine environment, and vessel repair and maintenance.

- Level 1 Maths and English, or to be working towards these, would be advantageous but not essential
