Introduction to Photonics Die Bonding
This one-day course is for people who are working in or have an interest in working in the photonics sector.
At the end of the course, you will have a good understanding of:
Eutectic, Epoxy and UV Die Bonding
The pros and cons of each type of Die Bonding method.
When to use each method
How to verify the quality of the Die Bond in terms of visual inspection and destruct testing against Military Standard 883
This course will take place at South Devon College’s Paignton campus in our dedicated electronic and photonic training suite. The course will include lots of practical sessions to embed your understanding and develop your skills. There is no formal assessment.
Upon successful engagement in both days, you will receive a South Devon College Certificate of attendance.
