Healthcare Support Diploma Level 3
This qualification will support you to build on the knowledge and skills required to work in a range of Healthcare Support roles. This qualification consists of mandatory units, covering knowledge and skills competencies, with optional specialisms. These can be combined in flexible ways to reflect the reality of working in this sector.
This qualification allows you to learn, develop and demonstrate the skills and knowledge required for employment and/or career progression in Healthcare. Opportunities may also be available to progress to an apprenticeship at Level 5, such as the Assistant Practitioner in Healthcareor the Nursing Associate, or to higher education programmes, providing all entry requirements are met.
Although there is no need for employer engagement, support from employers is required for observations and releasing you for study. Prior to course enrolment a skills scan will be set, as well as a meeting, that will include your employer where they will complete an employer approval form.
This course may offer funding for those who are over 19, have been resident in the UK for three years, with the exception of those who live within a devolved adult education area and those currently enrolled on an apprenticeship please click here for more information.
