Healthcare Assistant Practitioner Higher Apprenticeship Level 5
The higher apprenticeship in Health (Assistant Practitioner) is designed for those who are currently working in the healthcare sector and wish to progress to a Band 4 role.

You will study for a foundation degree in healthcare practice and during your studies you will learn from a variety of engaging and innovative methods, including detailed seminar discussion, reflective diaries and essay writing, all of which have been designed to enhance your communication and presentation skills.
Our teaching team consists of a range of highly experienced, enthusiastic practitioners, all of whom have contemporary skills and regularly refresh and update their knowledge, ensuring you remain inspired and learn the skills relevant to working practice. To demonstrate your skills and abilities, you will be assessed through formal written assignments, presentations and seminars during each module.
Your vocational competence will be assessed and signed off by your mentor. To demonstrate your skills and abilities, you will be assessed through formal written assignments, presentations and seminars during each module. Your vocational competence will be assessed and signed off by your mentor.

“I really enjoyed studying Health and Social Care. You're treated as an adult at the College and the tutors get to know you on a personal level, they are really supportive and their knowledge is invaluable. I felt as though I grew as a person during my time there, which is so important."Caitlyn Crofts
