GCSEs for Adults

Many adults study with us to further their current career, to change career or simply to achieve the qualifications they felt they missed out on in school. We offer a GCSE program designed to give you the opportunity to gain GCSE English, Maths, and any two of either GCSE Biology, GCSE Sociology or GCSE History. The program is specifically for adult learners and designed to fit in with employment and children’s school hours.

Along with your GCSEs, we will fully support you in the development of communication and interpersonal skills through supportive, engaging lessons delivered by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Our aim is to ensure you make good progress in your studies which will help improve your employability and long term career prospects.

What will I learn?

"I initially studied at University Centre South Devon before progressing to Plymouth University to study the BA (Hons) History degree. I was awarded a first class honours degree, as well as receiving a prize for my efforts at the graduation ceremony. I have everyone at University Centre South Devon and Plymouth University to thank for their encouragement. Without that support I would not have been able to achieve what I did, and making the decision to return to education has definitely been a positive one because of this. As a mature student, it's an honour to be considered a success story, and I'm pleased to represent those institutions and encourage others to make the same decision."Barry Musk
