Our Content Creator apprenticeship opens multiple doors for you, whether you’re a business owner, department manager, or future student. This opportunity allows passionate people to gain skills in a constantly growing industry.
The apprenticeship is delivered over 15 months with apprentices coming into the College once a week on a Friday. Learning is driven by a full skills gap analysis. On completion of the course the apprentice will be able to competently develop and create content that can be used across a variety of media including digital, social media, video, broadcast or in print.
You will understand how to work to a customer brief, research, prepare and develop content to maximise audience engagement, whilst capturing the strategy and objectives of the brand and needs of the customer they are representing.
Course Details
- You will be required to have achieved English at Level 2
- You will be required to have achieved Maths at Level 2
- You should have a genuine interest in this subject
Plan and develop creative content in line with the brief and budget/costs
Interpret the strategy and objectives of the brand and align these to the content. Research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement
Develop and create written content that can be used across a variety of media. Create visual and audio content that can be used across a variety of media
Store content securely and methodically to enable efficient access and retrieval
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to plan and align content delivery with business objectives. Manage content online using appropriate tools and techniques
Evaluate the effectiveness of the content produced against the original plan and recommend improvements. Undertake continuous professional development to keep up-to-date with trends and technology
