CMI Operations / Departmental Manager Apprenticeship (Higher Level) Level 5
These qualifications are designed for middle managers as well as those aspiring to senior management. With a more comprehensive structure, our Level 5 Apprenticeship in gives you the skills and competencies needed to become an effective middle manager.
An apprenticeship takes you another step towards Chartered Manager status which could be achieved at the end of the programme. You will study a recognised management qualification at Level 5 covering theory and practical application and also complete the portfolio and project requirements of the apprenticeship.

Course Details
- You must have a GCSE Grade 4(C) in Maths
- You must have a GCSE Grade 4(C) in English Language and Grade 5(B) in English Literature
- You must have completed an appropriate vocational qualification at Level 3

Management apprentices at South Devon College your Apprentice will gain a vital qualification that will help them succeed in a managerial role and develop their existing management skills and knowledge. Your Apprentice will be expected to have some prior experience in a managerial or team leader role. They will learn to plan, allocate and monitor the work of a team, support team members, manage conflict, resolve problems, project manage, agree budgets and manage customer service. Good managers are essential to the success of any business, so the skills gained on this apprenticeship are transferable and valuable across all industries.
