Access to Higher Education Diploma (Global Studies and Sustainability)

The Access to Higher Education diploma is a course that enables adults to progress to university. The Global Studies and Sustainability pathway is ideal for anyone interested in studying global challenges, sustainability and how this impacts society, the economy, and the environment.
Global Studies and Sustainability is suitable for you if you are interested in studying or working in:
Animal Welfare
Business
Consultancy and advisory roles
Environmental Management
Geography
Law
Outdoor Education
Teaching/Education
Sustainability
Social Policy
The core subjects will cover the three pillars of sustainability (society, the economy and the environment) and how they interact. Alongside three core academic subjects, you will receive training in study skills, support in academic writing and referencing, as well as guidance with the UCAS application process.
If you are under 24, and haven’t achieved a Level 3 qualification before, your course should be funded. Alternatively, you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to pay for your course fees, which you will not have to repay if you progress to University and complete your degree.

Course Details
- You must have English and Maths GCSE Grade 4(C) or equivalent for all Access to HE Diplomas (exceptions will be considered if you do not need this criteria in order to progress to your selected Higher Education Institute)

If the amount shown is more than £0.00 and you are aged 19 and over at the start of the course, you may have options to help fund your studies with us. The funding you can receive depends on your personal circumstances, and could mean you are entitled to fully subsidised or reduced tuition fees.
This course is fully funded for 16-18 year olds (if applicable to the course).
You may also be entitled to support with travel, childcare and equipment.
