South Devon College staff have been nominated and recognised in two national eFIXX awards.
eFIXX Awards are to recognise and celebrate those who are driving the future of the electrical industry. They observe whether educational centres go beyond the syllabus to keep up with best practices and the evolution of the electrical industry.
South Devon College are proud to announce that the electrical team have been nominated for the very prestigious, eFIXX College of the Year Award as well as 3 lecturers, Charlie Dandridge, Spencer Brown and John Shermer have all been nominated for the eFIXX Lecturer of the Year Award.
These awards, eFIXX college and lecturer of the year, are unique as they are the first in the industry to recognise the remarkable role that the education system plays in pushing the sector to the future. The College of the Year award is for colleges who excel in delivering electrical education and training and Lecturer of the Year award is for teachers who go beyond the syllabus to get students engaged in learning about the future of the electrical industry.
Nominations close on Tuesday 31st January 2023 with the judging beginning on Monday 20th February. The shortlist will then be announced in mid March ready for the winners ceremony to happen on Thursday 30th March.
