College art lecturer, Pav Szymanski has artwork being exhibited in New York
Following Pav’s recent art award in New York, The Power of Creativity Art Prize, he was contacted by a gallery representative working with Agora Gallery, located in Chelsea, the art district of New York City.
She came across his online artwork portfolio and was impressed. As a gallery representative, her job is to discover talented artists who might benefit from the representation and promotion services that the Agora Gallery offers.
Agora Gallery was established by the late Miki Stiles, MFA, to provide opportunities to artists entering the global art market. Ms. Stiles was a visionary who founded the gallery on the principle that all artists benefit from having their artwork promoted by a professional gallery. The gallery is frequented by art lovers looking to find and buy original artwork.
Agora Gallery offers artists the opportunity to present their work to a broad range of national and international art lovers and collectors. They welcome portfolio submissions from talented contemporary artists, or their representatives, at all stages of their art careers.
Pav is an international award winning artist and lecturer at South Devon College. He has now been invited to exhibit his work at the Agora Gallery in New York and would like to act as his curators.

Pav’s Next Steps…
Since being in contact with the gallery representative, Pav has entered 5 of his pieces into an international fine art competition organised by the Agora Gallery. The names of the pieces are ‘Beautiful Colombian Girl Waiting for Love’, ‘Haitian Girl with Butterflies’, ‘Malaika Mzuri’, ‘Malagasy Queen’ and ‘Mexican Alejandra’. The gallery are bringing our more information about the competition late April.
International recognition is very important to both his art profile and portfolio of significant achievements. It also opens up a potential for a curatorial relationship with the Agora Gallery, which promotes artists.
