12th November 2021
South Devon College each year supports Anti-Bullying Week with activities that uplift people and spread positivity. The theme for this year is One Kind Word, with the thought that one kind word leads to another.
In the College, there will be a roll of paper in The Street on Level 1 from Monday 15th for people to write kind words on, and sticky notes in toilets to go on the mirrors.
On Monday 15th, staff and students are being asked to wear clothing that clashes or wouldn’t normally be worn together for Colour Clash Day, celebrating that we are all united against bullying.
This is to demonstrate that we embrace diversity, are all different, being different is ok, and being different shouldn’t be a reason to be bullied. There will be a prize for the most impressive clash.
Remember to use hashtags #AntiBullyingWeek and #OneKindWord throughout Anti-Bullying Week on social media to show your support for a world without bullying.
