As a young carer aged 16 or 17 years who may not be accessing support through your local young carer services, you are entitled to receive a Coronavirus vaccination.

The Coronavirus vaccine has passed all the required safety tests and has already been given to millions of people across the country.

As a young people aged between 16 and 17 years old, you are allowed to consent to your own medical treatment – a parent cannot override your decision.

If you would like to have a Coronavirus vaccination, all you need to do is fill in the online form https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=Vx4YeeBlO0ye_XOpZ_zYAmjOTfV6c9RLoW_6EyLbo55UMFdPNUNaNzRLTlRBNlU4Nzg1N1pMSUVKRy4u

If you need support to complete a booking for the vaccination or for support with transport arrangements to a vaccination site where needed, for example, please contact your local young carers service directly using the information below:-

Once you have completed your booking, you will be contacted directly to arrange an appointment.  You can also contact the NHS directly if you have any other questions.
