As a young carer aged 16 or 17 years who may not be accessing support through your local young carer services, you are entitled to receive a Coronavirus vaccination.
The Coronavirus vaccine has passed all the required safety tests and has already been given to millions of people across the country.
As a young people aged between 16 and 17 years old, you are allowed to consent to your own medical treatment – a parent cannot override your decision.
