Introducing Level 3 Art and Design Diploma student, Samuel McCready, and his final major project titled “Perception of Masculinity.”

Sam’s project displayed a great level of skill in textiles and fashion, having produced a waistcoat and hooded blazer that combines traits of both a traditional and modern style.

What was entirely traditional was the methods used to produce the garments. Everything was hand-stitched, dyed and embroidered.

South Devon College wish Sam and all of the students that exhibited this year every success as they move forward with their studies and career.
