There has been cause for celebration today as students at University Centre South Devon gathered to collect their transcripts of results.
Many students are now looking forward to progressing to higher level study and others have secured employment in their chosen industries.

Anna studied the English with History foundation degree due to the fascinating module content and enthusiastic staff.
“The level of support offered at UCSD is unparalleled. I made friends for life here. It was the best decision I have made in my life! I now have the tools and confidence to develop further.” |

Through his employer, South West Water, Scott enrolled onto a higher apprenticeship and studied the Electronics and Robotic Control Engineering foundation degree.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity my employer has given me to earn a higher level qualification. The knowledge and skills I have learned here will support me in my job role.” |

Having completed the foundation degree in Healthcare Practice (Assistant Practitoner) Allea progressed to the BSc Enhanced Integrated Care top-up.
“UCSD offers a great learning environment which has enabled me to progress with my career. The teaching was to a very high standard and I valued the lecturer’s knowledge and expertise and I have since been able to apply it to my practice. Studying here has given me the opportunity to specialise in a field that I have so much passion for!” |

Having left the military Aaron decided he wanted to progress in the construction industry. He studied Sustainable Construction and the Built Environment.
“UCSD offered the exact course I was looking for to progress with my career. The tutors here are so knowledgeable. If you’re considering a career change don’t be afraid and enjoy it!” |

In order to help further her career Susan studied the BA (hons) Child Development and Education top-up.
“This is such a big achievement for me and I feel very proud. I particularly enjoyed meeting new people and the support and encouragement from the tutors.” |

Mark studied Sustainable Construction and the Built Environment foundation degree and enjoyed the personal approach at UCSD.
“This course had all of the elements I was looking for. The lecturers are from diverse parts of the industry so can share a range of knowledge and expertise.” |

Joan studied the BA (hons) Leadership and Management top-up as part of the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship with the CMI.
“This content of this course was very interesting and applicable to my occupation. It helped me to explore leadership and management concepts further which I can now apply in my role.” |
The students are now looking forward to their graduation ceremony on 13th September.
