Hannah Salfield MA RCA, internationally renowned fashion designer and postgraduate MA from The Royal College of Art, visited the Art and Design Department of South Devon College as Artist in Residence.

Hannah delivered an inspirational presentation, which was illustrated with a comprehensive presentation and physical examples of her portfolio work and sketchbook. Her exciting and dynamic CV covers working for Matthew Williamson, French Connection and Alberta Ferretti in Italy.

She has also sold her designs to Armani, Calvin Klein, Moschino, Tommy Hilfiger, River Island, Max Mara and others. Her work has also been published in Vogue and other high-end fashion magazines.

Hannah delivered a range of consultations and portfolio surgeries and worked with the College’s UAL Extended Diploma and foundation degree Fashion students. Hannah has her own successful fashion design business in London and frequently travels abroad to India for research in preparation for new collections.

The College will be inviting Hannah again to run an induction fashion workshop for the Art and Design students starting in September 2019.
