Craig Hutcheson has recently joined the Sport, Fitness and Adventure team at South Devon College as Community Sport Operations Manager.

Having worked previously for the Torquay United Community Sports Trust, Craig has many years’ industry experience and is passionate about engaging with the local community by promoting an active lifestyle.

Craig’s aspiration is to encourage the community to participate in activities that are inclusive for all.  He is also looking forward to supporting students on fulltime courses and apprenticeships with their learning, by providing an inspirational and dynamic learning environment.

The exciting new White Rock Sport Centre development at South Devon College will contain state-of-the-art equipment and will include 3G and MUGA pitches, designed to cater for a range of sport and fitness activities. Local schools will be invited to use the facilities to take part in a variety of sports clubs and holiday clubs.

Craig will be working alongside Chris Todd at The Pro Direct Academy South Devon, which is dedicated to developing extraordinary players and people both on and off the pitch with the coaching team comprising industry professionals and pro players. Programmes are devised by UEFA and FA licensed coaches who work to exacting standards to inspire confidence and technical skills required for players to develop professionally and academically.
