South Devon College Roofing and Tiling Student Ethan Howe has been nominated for Building Plymouth’s ‘Construction Apprentice of the Year’.

This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate an apprentice’s exceptional contribution to their workplace, and recognise their commitment to the apprenticeship experience.

Ethan was one of the highest scoring competitors from last year’s SkillBuild competition, qualifying for the UK National Finals. Ethan’s work placement is with Stormforce Roofing, based in Plymouth.

The winner will be announced at the Apprenticeship Jobs Fair on Saturday 10th March at Plymouth Guildhall. City Leader Cllr Ian Bowyer will present the award.
