­­­­Two South Devon College students, Virag Kiss and Gemma Espinosa,  have been shortlisted for the Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) ‘The Bigger Picture’ photography competition. Over 550 entries were received and judges were delighted with the high standard of entries.

The Bigger Picture photographic competition is aimed at 14-18 year olds. The challenge was to take a photograph showing the ‘bigger picture’ of how the world is changing and how it affects family, friends, community and the nation as a whole.

The competition had five diverse categories: New world order; Age of innovation; Fragile earth; Being me; and Society in chaos.

Winning entries will be part of The Bigger Picture photographic exhibition at the Espacio Gallery in London between 20 -25 March 2018.
