The first cohort of Dental Nursing apprentices are celebrating passing all of their examinations. The apprentices can now look forward to progressing into careers in the dentistry profession.
Apprentice Michelle Beasley said: “Attending College to gain the qualification whilst working was a great way to apply the skills I learnt. I liked the style of examinations, as I felt I had the opportunity to prepare fully for them. The ongoing support from the staff at College was great; if we ever needed any help or advice they were on hand to guide us.”
Dr Govender – Dental Surgeon at Stamford House Dental Practice in Axminster said: “South Devon College is an excellent provider of superior training in dental nursing. Two members of my team have completed their training with the College and I have a new apprentice starting soon. The care and support from all staff is excellent.”
Emma Baker, Training Officer at South Devon College said: “I love observing the Dental Nurses as they develop. I look forward to supporting more practices in the area by providing excellent Dental Nurse training.”
Congratulations to our apprentices on their results!
