Level 3 Make-up Artistry students from South Devon College will be putting their skills into professional practice. The group will be applying stage make-up to the cast members of the musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert during its run at Princess Theatre, Torquay.
Torquay’s premier stage musical society, TOPS Musical Productions, are once again pulling out all the stops to bring you this ambitious and exciting production. Priscilla Queen of the Desert is an uplifting musical about three friends Tick, Bernadette and Felicia as they journey across the Australian outback. They embark on the road trip of a lifetime in search of love and friendship, and discover so much more along the way.
Shelly Lee, Programme Coordinator for Beauty and Make-up Therapies at South Devon College said, “It’s a fantastic opportunity for the students to gain valuable work experience in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The group have been working very hard during rehearsals and I’m looking forward to everyone seeing the finished product on-stage!”
The show will be running from the 25th-28th October 2017 at Princess Theatre, Torquay, Torbay Road, Torquay, TQ2 5EZ
